I have always loved lace, especially for wedding gowns, think Grace Kelly and Our Kate.

Our Kate loves it for a formal do too…

I digress, back to lace.

Recently I have noticed lace becoming more mainstream, even casual. Here are a few looks which have recently caught my eye on Pinterest via the very stylish Decorator’s Notebook pinboard.

Maybe it is the hint of skin beneath the lace so alluring yet demure. Teamed with a simple tan belt and navy blue it is very chic but still interesting.

The pistachio spotty skirt and this lace blouse is also very satisfying. Tan accessories again. I like.

More tan, more pistachio, more lace. It works so well. Maybe like a pistachio cornet works?

Having credited Decorator’s Notebook for the inspirational pinning, I now see (after writing all of this lace drivel) that she too has blogged about this today, ahhhh well as I had written this before spotting that I will proceed.
